Well here it is.....my website finally went live on 9 November 2010. I only say finally because there was a lot more work involved than I expected, and never having done this sort of thing before, it was a huge learning curve. To be honest a lot of the hard work was done by Ian Wallace from www.siteminder247.com – without his input and guidance I dare say I’d still be gazing at a mostly blank template, wondering how to get my photos into place. It was a double pleasure to have Ian involved – apart from his skills in website development, Ian is a landscape photographer I’ve admired and been inspired by for some time now. To put his expertise to work on my own project was a special treat. The rest of my gratitude for getting to this point must go to my business partner and sister, Lucy, for putting up with my indecision and always pointing me forwards. I know they say that you shouldn’t go into business with family or friends, but in this case, they’re wrong. We have a deal – I go out and take photographs and Lucy keeps everything else on track. I know I can’t get off that lightly forever, but I’m willing to give it a go.
